Oh, what a memory! You may need to write a memoir, my friend! This was terrific! Adorable photos that cemented the vision of you two and your winter shenanigans. Thank you for giving us such a fun glimpse in!
Sam, I certainly feel this piece of your heart. I think even as we get bigger and then in later life smaller again, the world is always too big to comprehend, so we write as a way to understand all that goes on inside and outside of us. What I love about your prose or prose poem today is that you interweave the inner and outer environment as one. Lovely.

Blessings and MUCH LOVE! ~Wendy💜
That, my dear, is already in the works! : )
Oh the gorgeous prose, storytelling and sweet ending, too soon; I want more !💙! Such wonderful photos too!
Thank you, Holly! I do feel there are parts that could be expanded. Perhaps an exercise for another day. : )
I actually was thinking about the ending and not knowing whether the big boys caught you or not. I love that you didn’t spell it out!
Thankfully, we were never found.
Beautiful story filled with singing prose.
Thank you, Kiki! : )
So sweet! Sometimes I wish I could relive those snowball throwing days. 🩵
Those were the days! As an adult, I pick up snow, think about it, and then just throw it at a tree. "What if I hit them in the eye??" lol
Hahaha. I think an adult snowball fight would be hilarious.

thank you for the kind words, Laurie. I truly appreciate it. : )
You two! How did your mother get anything done with all that cuteness in the house?
Oh trust me. There were days we drove her crazy, and the cuteness disappeared. lol
Awwww! ☺️💛
Such a vivid glimpse of brotherly love in a shared fear. ❤️
Thank you, Denise! : )
