Oh, if only our only wants would come simply. I quite understand the substance behind the skittishness of groundhogs and most animals, even those who prey on others. To live always waiting for the "next thing" to either love you, hate you, or eat you is always a spin of the roulette and often more than unnerving. Oh, a little peace, yes! Mostly, peace for those who have lives literally in the crosshairs. This piece took me to that yearning. Oh, the pleasure and the gift of a peace-filled existence. You always bring it, Sam! Blessings and MUCH LOVE! ~Wendy💜
Where does one find peace? Certainly not in the world. The world will always breed chaos. It has plagued us since our dawning. May we all find that inner peace that affords those brief moments of awakening, when the activity of a small animal will shed light upon our lives. Thank you for being here, Wendy.
Good question! Love your answer, Sam! I agree that a full existence of peace is not found here or ever will it, nor are we so internally tuned that our 'inner peace' is constant, yet, there are tastes of it, both earthly and within ourselves. There are those moments when we get a sampling of it so sweet that our every cell experiences it. Some folks are fortunate enough to encounter it quite regularly and I would say that nature opens more of those doors than anything. May we all have countless moments that can feed us this way. Peace be with you and MUCH LOVE, my friend! 💜🙏🏼
Love this one (and groundhogs, doing the small, necessary work).

How beautifully and simply expressed. I think we all want a place not to be afraid - so hard to find these days.
